Intore — Dance of the Chosen
The most iconic of Rwandan dances, performed by male warriors wearing the famous umugara grass headdress. Intore is a dance of victory — powerful leaps, spear brandishing, and rhythmic stomping tell the story of bravery on the battlefield and loyalty to the kingdom.

Umushagiriro — Ballet of Cows
A graceful women's dance that honours the sacred cow, central to Rwandan identity. Arms are lifted high to mimic the great horns of the Inyambo cattle, and the slow, elegant movements flow with the songs of pastoral life.
