INTAYOBERANA was founded by a small circle of Rwandan dancers and drummers with a simple conviction: our culture is too beautiful to lose. The name means “the unwavering ones” — a promise that we will never stray from the path our ancestors walked. For over a decade, we have trained young Rwandans in the classical dances of our nation, performed at state ceremonies, weddings, and international festivals, and welcomed visitors into the heart of our heritage.
Today, INTAYOBERANA is more than a troupe — it is a family, a school, and an ambassador of Rwanda. We believe every leap of an Intore warrior and every beat of the ingoma drum carries a story worth telling.
Safeguarding classical Rwandan choreography, songs, and poetry so they are never forgotten.
Training a new generation of Rwandan dancers through workshops and youth programs.
Representing Rwanda on stages across the world with integrity, excellence, and pride.
